The Great December Burnout: January Update

In the five million days of January, I have accomplished the following GDB goals:
I recycled about 5 pounds of clay!
I submitted the Space Jellies to a gallery! And it's showing in February!
I started the giant Leadville painting! 30x40, going super slow.
I didn't make a mug, but I did do a really nice teapot and a bunch of plant pots.
I bought a 1973 Mustang! I finally have my Mustang!! My dear Benjamin didn't hesitate to make sure that would happen for me. Her name is Sybil and I hope to have her driving by June 2026.
The 2024 GDB proper was one of the worst I've ever had. I'm so incredibly, clinically, burnt out because of the insane conditions of my day job. It's not sustainable anymore. I spent my entire winter break sitting on the couch and waiting. I couldn't draw, paint, write, go outside, anything. I just... waited. And then I decided I do not and cannot care about my work anymore. I'm going to be a student and a starving artist again. That's where I'm the happiest.
