The view from Walmart

Laramie, Wyoming is in a valley, snuggled right up next to the Interstate 80 summit. From the Laramie side, the mountain seems like a foothill. Everything west looks like it's eye level to the city.

The Walmart parking lot is one of the most glorious views of the mountains to the west. (The other is from Harney and 22nd.) Taking a second to stop and just appreciate how the snow makes Jelm Mountain look so isolated is the best part of grocery shopping here.
